The public attends a neighborhood meeting where it must be decided whether to install a new elevator in the building (or not) as the current one, once again, has broken down. The majority want it, but a vote is necessary to finalize it. During the meeting, the staircase presidents will receive an unexpected visit, in which the following question arises: Are we owners, or are we not owners? “The Request” is a creative work based on a short text by playwright Nelson Valente, who has presented his works in theaters such as Romea and Villarroel. With his permission and support, we have developed the text, trying to find out what could have happened after the original ending. Paula Marques, Àlex Cortés, and Xavi Garrido act, directed by Raimundo Morte and costume design by Marta Torra.
